In the quiet of night a curse befell me. The teeth sank deep and pulled the skin from my body. New poisoned marrow infecting my veins. Becoming the darkness. Becoming the myth. The cold swept over me with foggy haze distorting the world. A choir of angry voices beat like violent fists. Paws of a wolf, claws of the hunter steal me from my sleep. Imprisoning me; bludgeoned my heart with hate. Now life is empty. A shell of myself drifting further away. A pale light beckons my return. Having walked through the dark and returning from myth - the choir of angry voices silenced in my head but forever the memory remains. Eternally bound to a demon whose will and power exists within the shadows of my mind. Unchanged. I'm chained.

Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once..... grote_smurf

Литоургиiа réussit l'impensable : faire entrer le black metal dans l'église orthodoxe.

Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann
